Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District Announces New Community Mini Grants 

  • Sharing a funding opportunity for neighborhoods and other community-based/grass roots organizations.
  • Montgomery County is offering $1,000 mini grants for community building activities that include the arts. Neighborhoods and community organizations can host a concert, an artist, incorporate arts into a neighborhood activity, do a beautification project, etc.. The focus can be on adults, families, a neighborhood, kids, etc. It’s pretty open but requires creativity in terms of the use of the funds.
  • Jurisdictions cannot apply and are asked to share this opportunity with the community.
  • Jurisdictions desiring to implement an arts or cultural project are encouraged to visit www.cultureworks.org for Montgomery County’s Special Projects grants.
